Tufenkian Historic Yerevan Hotel is at 48 Hanrapetutyan Street, constructed with traditional black and orange tuff stone in late 19th-century Yerevan architectural style. The building faces Vernisage outdoor arts and crafts market. Interior spaces feature handcrafted décor, natural materials, and furniture made by Armenian craftsmen.

The hotel offers 85 air-conditioned rooms including Standard Twin, Standard King, Standard Queen, Junior Suites, and Executive Suites. I was excited to stay at a hotel with a view to Mt Ararat and all the amenities, but having twin beds was slightly disappointing. The clean air was a big plus for me, making the stay enjoyable overall.
